Three Clucks for Louise!
We are honored to have won the Odyssey Award for our audio production of the picture book LOUISE, THE ADVENTURES OF A CHICKEN, written by Kate DiCamillo and illustrated by Harry Bliss.
Live Oak Media productions are truly a collaborative effort, and the overall quality and final product could not be what it is without the contributions of every member of this team. Barbara Rosenblat was our choice for narrator right from the start. Suffice it to say, her narration of the text and vocal characterization were priceless. The production team includes Arnie Cardillo as producer; Rory Young, the engineer who virtually co-produces each recording with Arnie and works on every aspect of the post-production process; and Chris Kubie, who writes and creates the inspiring orchestral music for every production.
Live Oak Media's principal focus for the 30 years since its inception has been to produce recordings for the school and library market. To receive this kind of recognition from librarians, our main audience, is a validation for us that we are producing the audio recordings that they want. Our sincere thanks to all of you who have supported our efforts over the years and continue to astound us with your recognition and appreciation of what we do.

What formats are you using?
With new technology arriving on the scene seemingly overnight, we are attempting to find ways to bring our productions to you in the formats you prefer. However, we won't compromise quality for the latest trend. So, while we continue to put a great deal of time and effort into creating outstanding productions, we will also be working to develop new ways of delivery that are worthy of them.

Cassettes Are Still Available! While we no longer produce our new releases in cassette formats, we continue to carry most of our backlist titles in cassettes, and will continue to do so while supplies last.
